The West Indies have won the toss and sent Australia in to bat in the third one-day international against Australia at the SCG.
The tourists must win the match to stay alive in the best-of-five series after heavy losses in Perth and Adelaide.
The Windies have included Wavell Hinds and Darren Sammy in their line-up in a bid to break their losing streak.
Australia lost Shaun Marsh to a back injury in the warm-up and has left out Clint McKay, Brad Haddin and Shane Watson from the team that won by eight wickets in Adelaide on Tuesday.
Adam Voges, James Hopes, Ryan Harris and Tim Paine come into the XI.
It will be Paine’s first home appearance for Australia.
The SCG is bathed in sunshine on a hot day in Sydney but predicted late thunderstorms threaten to disrupt the game.
